Aus Steel Far North Shed Features

Take a look at the features we are able to provide with an Aus-Steel building:

• A 25 year structural engineering warranty.
• A 15 year  x  15 year  x  12 year written warranty from Bluescope Lysaght on the materials used in your Aus-Steel building.
• A full set of engineering for your records.  Including the engineering certificate.
• There is no black steel used, only quality Australian galvanized or zincalume steel.
• Fully bolted frames with a minimum of 8 bolts in each of the joining (knee and apex) plates (some sheds use tek screws or only 4 bolts).
• Embedded high tensile “U” bolts in the slab for extra strength.
• Trafficable roof – you can walk on the roof of an Aus-Steel building (makes it easy for access when cleaning gutters etc).
• All flashed – all appropriate areas are covered with flashing, no bent sheets or short cuts.
• The portal frames are able to be smaller on some end walls – this enables maximum roller door clearance.
• The knee and apex plates are designed to maintain the correct pitch and allow for flanged bolts.
• All windows are hung on 40  x  40 frames not screwed straight to the wall sheets.
• Wall girts have prescribed overlap not straight through runs (more strength in the walls and roof).
• PA doors are fully framed and are provided with a proper barrel door lock.
• The Guttering is attached with gutter brackets and not screwed directly to sheets.
